Information

After last years successful fantasy league, Charlbury Cricket Club are pleased to announce the return of the 'Cricket Fantasy League' for the 2010 season. If you are interested in entering then please read the following information and rules below.

Rules

To enter and for more information, please download the 'Fantasy League 2010 Forms' from the Documents & Downloads page of the website.

A team of 11 players to be selected including a minimum of three female players.

The overall value of each team must not exceed 420 points.

Each run scores 1 point plus a bonus of 50 for scoring 50 and 100 for scoring 100.

Each wicket taken scores 10 points plus a bonus of 50 for taking 5 wickets in an innings and 100 for taking a hat-trick or for taking 10 wickets in an innings.

Each maiden over bowled scores 5 points.

Each stumping scores 20 points.

Each catch scores 10 points.

Women's league games now count and each team must have a minimum of three female players.

Results will be taken from fully recorded weekend matches only.

The league will start with the first weekend matches of the 2010 season.

All teams and fees to be handed in by 31st May 2010.

A transfer window will be open from 13th July to 2nd August 2010.

You will be allowed to transfer up to four players from your current side with players not in your team, but must not exceed the 420-point limit.

Players transferred will be added to teams from 3rd August and only points scored from this date onwards will count towards your team.

Teams and fees to be handed in to Paul Ford (Club Scorer) or any of the Club Captains or Vice Captains.

Cost of entry is £2.00 per team with no limit on how may teams you can enter.

The league will finish with the last weekend matches of the 2010 season.

All decisions taken by the organisers are final.

First prize is £50.00, which will be shared if two or more teams finish tied.
