Unreal From Our U13s!!

Absolute class from our U13 league team tonight against Langford!! The team work, support for each other and effort that every one of these players put in week in, week out is truly awesome - they should be very proud! To come away with a 150 run victory is outstanding, including contributions from all. Some standout performances were A Lewis & D Powell-Jones both retiring at 30, as well as G Eaton scoring 28. Some sharp fielding from J Cooper with a run out, D Powell-Jones with a stumping and Z Lewis with a catch and some tight bowling from all (S Jones picking up 4, E Ogier & E Mathias with 2 and J Seaton with 1) helped secure the win!! 👏👏



At home, our U13 pairs team narrowly missed out on the win against Oxford & Bletchingdon in a very exciting game. Looking back at the first pairs game of season against the same team where they lost by 60-70 runs, to take it this close this time around shows how far this team has come so far since the start of the season, and it is amazing to watch!! Some standout performances in this game included 2 wickets from D Mansel-Pleydell, and 1 wicket each from G Staveley & D Christie, as well as a superb partnership made up of a 31 not out by B Haines-Shaw and 12 not out by C Lee. 🤩
